Hi! I’m Rich, your coach!
Throughout my career, I’ve been a proven people leader with a focus on the integrity of business operations. First, I’m passionate about people—their development, opportunities, and education. From the time I was an engineer at Fujitsu working on the development of devices we know as “self-checkout” to managing a team of highly skilled engineers, I’ve helped driven people to succeed in their roles.
I leverage my network for others while acknowledging the many people who pulled and pushed me over the years. I have mentored many as direct reports, colleagues, and industrially, entrepreneurially and personally. I understand the need for diversity of skillsets, experiences, and people.
My work in the community includes nonprofit organizations churches in the Charlotte area, technical organizations, and meetings with area leaders to help with challenges across organizations.
I’m also an avid reader. A few favorite books: “The Hard Thing About Hard Things,” “First, Break All the Rules,” and “The Power of Story.” There are many others I routinely share with colleagues, clients, and mentees.
A few things to be true.
I believe there is no luck. There is only preparation, time, and chance. Hence, the commitment to being a “lifetime learner.”
Relentlessly serving others with no expectation of reward is paramount for personal wellness.
My motivation starts with family—especially at home where I have three daughters Terrier mix Princess Leia.
